Capri, cast aside your sea stacks and fame and make room for the sister island that puts the ciao back in bella. The island of Ischia, which is just south of Naples, packs an exuberant punch (and not just because of its rumbling volcano). Travelers are increasingly seeking destinations that manage to thrive just under the radar, where well-heeled tourists have not yet prompted McDonald’s outposts (hello, Roma). Bypassing fast food, fanny packs, and pickpockets, Ischia remains home to some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world.
Thermal spas dot Ischia’s surface, where natural hot springs and volcanic mud baths rule the day. With rich history, gardens, villas, and even an Aroganese castle, the island is as perfect for a day of sightseeing or adventure as it is for a languid day at the beach-and la spiaggia never disappoints. Even the most restless city kids are in luck, as nightlife and dance clubs are hopping in Fiorio and Ischia Porto. Oh, and no diets allowed. The food is rich, fresh, and often straight from the sea. Attire? A smile, your favorite slingbacks, and a fork.

I have a personal problem with this photo!

I believe this was taken in Duabi (could be wrong). And Dubai is beautiful.

But I have a personal problem with this photo because I have seen too many like it. I think if the men can swim freely then the women should be able to as well. From what I've read, when the women do get into the water, they still have to have on swimsuits that cover everything but their face, hands, and feet. Now I think that's a little foul.

Sometimes it's just the little things like, smell the freshly cut grass, taking the dog for a walk through the park,eating an ice-cream and feeling like a child,taking a nap in the hammick, walking on the beach, feeling the warm summer breeze sweep across to body and also smell of suntan lotion etc.... So tell me --What Makes You Think Of Summer? What Things Or Objects Make You Think Of Summer?

What We Saw On Our Way To The Spring Flower Show

We had to stop and take a picture of this snow Wave. It was in a farmer's field, and it looks like someone took a lot of trouble to make something beautiful out of the snow. It won't last long, just like this cold snap. Pretty Creative, I think!!!

Hope You are Having A Great Start To Your Week!!! Here are some of the Spring Flowers we saw at the Spring Show. Pussy Willows, Forsynthia, Tulips, Hyacinth, Primrose, Azalias and even a little Fern. The Show was Indoors, so some of my pics initially came out a little dark, but I was able to lighten them in edit. Hope You Enjoy the pics!!!

I had the amazing joy to see these two very talented singers in concert a few days ago in Holly wood at the Music Box. I haven't heard of Meiko much before, but she was my favorite of the night. I would definitely recommend to pick up one of her cds or, even better, see her in concert. Joshua Radin was also fantastic. His voice was A-MAZING. Definitely recommend him too for all to hear:) So overall it made for a great night of music for three hours. And tickets were only twenty bucks! Who need 300$ Britney Spears tickets!

West Palm Beach in February

My second home is the beautiful state of Florida. We went to visit my mom and family and to look at a hotel I had in mind to get married in. I really can't wait to move back, I mean don't get me wrong I'm a true Bronx girl forever but I need to slow it down just a bit and chill in the sun which I love. It was a bit cold down there umm how about 50 degrees! I had to run to Walmart and buy some sweaters one night since we were walking around downtown and it was freezing. We did some shopping and went to a club at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Anywho check out the fotos!
